Norway remains a major shipowner market and the BMA hosted a half day seminar during the occasion of the bi-annual Nor-Shipping 2015. The seminar was aimed at engaging with the Authority’s clients based in the Scandinavian area and was well attended by not only shipowners, but also by Bahamas Recognised Organisations and Approved Nautical Inspectors.  An overview and update of national policies and guidelines were presented by BMA Deputy Directors Carolyn Moree (Registration), Stephen Keenan (Inspection & Survey) and Dwain Hutchinson (Manning, Training and MLC 2006).
