The event was attended by BMA representatives George Zarvanos, Captain Dwain Hutchinson, Dimitris Tsiftsis, and Christios Papastapoulos (shown pictured left to right) who joined the over 800 attendees in extending their congratulations to all the Greek shipowners who have enrolled their Bahamian registered ships into the AMVER programme recognising its importance to the rescue people in distress at sea globally. A number of Bahamians ships and their Owners were highlighted through special awards presented by the USCG representative Rear Admiral Linda Fagan.
