The Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) was proud to sponsor the Maritime Conference Bahamas 2024, themed “Broadening the Horizon of a Sustainable Maritime Future: Trends, Innovations, Opportunities, and Risks.” 

BMA Technical Officer, Kenneth Carey, opened the conference sessions, initiating insightful discussions on trends in port state control and innovation within the maritime industry. We congratulate LJM Maritime Academy on their 10th Anniversary and their ongoing dedication to maritime education, the building of national capacity and promoting the maritime sector as a viable career opportunity for Bahamians.
