BMA Delegation spends a successful week in Beijing, China

Following on from the successful visit to Shanghai, China earlier in the summer, The BMA arranged a further promotional week in August, this time to the capital, Beijing.  The delegation was led by Regional Director for Asia Capt Jahangir Hussain.

During the course of a busy week, the team had the opportunity to meet with high officials of banks, ship leasing companies, state-owned companies, shipowners, shipmanagers and other stakeholders from the many diverse sectors of the Chinese shipping industry.

The visit was highly successful and the delegation was able to strengthen bonds with existing clients and impress potential clients who showed a keen interest in joining the BMA fleet in near future.

These promotional weeks are having a significant and positive impact on The BMA’s strategic objective to enhance relationships with Far East Asian countries, particularly those within the Chinese shipping community and we expect to be visiting many more shipping hubs in the coming year.
