Bahamas 50th Independence anniversary

10 July 2023 marks 50 years of independence for The Bahamas. As we celebrate this golden anniversary, we reflect on and recognise the importance of the ocean to this historic moment. From our pristine beaches that are renowned globally, to our thriving maritime sector, we at The BMA are privileged to have played our part in, and contributed to, the development of our nation. 

We are proud and honoured to join the nation in striving towards a brighter and sustainable future aligned with our national motto to progress forward, upward, onward, together.
